About Course

Let’s take off and discover what makes hot air balloons, airplanes, helicopters, and even rockets go! Campers will study each aerial vehicle in depth and recreate each one with tangible, easy-to-build models. They’ll see how the forces of air and gravity act on the vehicles and how each one finds its own clever way to defy them. Uncover the past, present, and future of aerospace vehicles and prepare for take-off this summer!

Learn to identify the parts of various flying machines: hot air balloons, airplanes, helicopters, and rockets
Learn to follow build directions to create each flying machine with LEGO/BrickLab Bricks.
Learn to read/listen to various written passages, and answer basic questions.
Learn to perform basic mathematical operations, using a number line if needed.
Use creativity in the open-ended BrickLab builds.
