About Course

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s… Superpowers Week! Campers will suit up as they seek ways to protect the world and save mankind in the process. They will join a league of heroes and compete against others by performing engineering-related challenges, such as deflecting hazards with Captain America’s shield, reverse-engineering Batman’s rocket car, and testing Spider-Man’s web strength. They’ll also have the opportunity to create superhero alter egos for themselves by the end of the week. Let your child discover their own STEM superpowers in one of our most popular programs!

What Will You Learn?

  • Learn to create a superhero with a unique origin story and superpowers.
  • Learn teamwork in creating a "Justice League" of superheroes with other campers.
  • Learn logic and inference with a superhero-themed detective game.
  • Learn to follow build directions to create each superhero build with LEGO/BrickLab Bricks.
  • Learn basic mathematical operations (at an age-appropriate level) for a color-by-number craft.
  • Build physical skills/superpowers with superhero-themed target and bean-bag-toss games.
  • Use creativity in the open-ended BrickLab builds.

MONDAY – SUPERHERO ORIGIN STORIES
In today's lessons, campers will design their superheroes, introduce their alter egos and superhero personas, and build the city their "Justice League" will protect.

TUESDAY – MISSING CAPE GAME AND BRICK JET BUILD
In today's lessons, campers will play an inference game to build their crime-fighting skills. They will build Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet with BrickLab LEGO-style bricks.

WEDNESDAY – SUPERHERO SPINNER AND BRICK BATMOBILE BUILD
In today's lessons, campers will complete a spinner craft and will build a balloon-powered Batmobile with BrickLab LEGO-style bricks.

THURSDAY – SUPERHERO COLOR-BY-NUMBER AND BRICK SHIELD BUILD
In today's lessons, campers will build their math skills with a color-by-number worksheet. They'll then build Captain America's shield with BrickLab LEGO-style bricks.

FRIDAY – TARGET AND BEAN BAG TOSS GAMES AND OPEN-ENDED BRICK BUILD
In today's lesson, campers will build their physical skills with the target and bean bag toss games. The final superhero brick build is open ended.
