About Course

In this newly-updated version of our Botzees Robotics camp, kids will have fun building, coding, and customizing their own Botzees Robots. From programmable trucks, to robotic musical monkeys, campers will have a blast constructing and controlling their creations. The Botzees platform uses block coding and augmented reality to teach basic coding principles to even the youngest campers – no experience or reading skills are required. Hands-on play and learning take on a whole new level of fun with Botzees Robotics!

What Will You Learn?

  • Learn to follow build instructions for various Botzees Robots.
  • Learn how to write instructions, or code, to tell a robot what to do.
  • Learn about basic code commands - like loops, conditionals, and wait blocks.
  • Learn problem solving and teamwork as your robotics group works together to solve a series of fun challenges.

MONDAY – INTRODUCTION TO BOTZEES
In today's lessons, campers will be introduced to Botzees and the Botzees AR app. They'll begin by building the classic Botzees Robot. Then, they'll code it to dance.

TUESDAY – BOTZEES CONDITIONAL WALRUS
In today's lessons, campers will follow build instructions for the Botzees Walrus. In the coding portion, campers will program their walrus robot to move when a condition is met.

WEDNESDAY – LOOPING MUSICAL MONKEY
In today's lessons, campers will follow build instructions for the Botzees monkey robot. In the coding portion, they'll use coding loops to make the robot play music repeatedly.

THURSDAY – WAITING ALLIGATOR
In today's lessons, campers will follow build instructions for the Botzees alligator robot. In the coding portion, they'll use a "wait" code block to add an element of suspense to their creation.

FRIDAY – BOTZEES TRUCK STOP AND FREE BUILD
In today's lessons, campers will build the Botzees truck and code it to drive certain pre-defined distances. Time permitting, they can use what they've learned during camp to create and code their own Botzees robot.
