About Course

An indoor, daytime camp might not be the first place you’d expect to find engaging space lessons, but you’ll be pleased to know EFK has cracked the code! “Outer Limits” presents campers with fun, interactive models to illustrate and discuss what is otherwise a very abstract science: astronomy. Learn the reasons for the seasons, why the moon goes through its phases, and everything you’d ever want to know about our blazing, amazing Sun. Blast off with EFK this summer with a camp sure to spark a supernova of imagination!

What Will You Learn?

  • Students will learn about the Earth, Sun, and our solar system.
  • Students will learn about the layers of the Earth.
  • Students will learn about the Moon - its revolution around the Earth and its phases.
  • Students will learn about the planets in our solar system.

MONDAY – THE SUN AND THE SOLAR SYSTEM
In today's lessons, campers will investigate the Sun, shadows, and the Earth's rotation and revolution.

TUESDAY – THE EARTH
In today's lessons, campers will learn about the Earth and its layers.

WEDNESDAY – THE MOON
In today's lessons, campers will learn about the Moon - how it revolves around the Earth and its phases.

THURSDAY – THE PLANETS
In today's lessons, campers will learn about the planets.

FRIDAY – OUR FOUR SEASONS
In today's lessons, campers will learn about the four seasons.
