About Course

With our Smart Trains, we’re bringing toy trains into the digital age! Our lessons will test campers with logic problems and coding dilemmas in a way that feels like play, culminating in a class-wide project to construct an entire train world! Campers will build pre-designed and custom track layouts to tackle challenges. Complete with colored tile-based programming, ramps, tunnels, bridges, and a companion app that quickly pairs to each train, Smart Trains makes for one exciting program!

What Will You Learn?

  • Learn how to construct various Smart Train tracks using the pieces provided.
  • Use logic and critical thinking to control trains with the Smart Trains' "snap commands."
  • Use knowledge of the "snap commands" to solve more complex Smart Trains challenges.
  • Use teamwork to build progressively larger and more complicated Smart Train tracks.

THURSDAY – EASTER EGG HUNT AND CHRISTMAS TRAIN
In today's lessons, campers will complete holiday-themed Smart Train challenges.

FRIDAY – SMART TRAIN OPEN-ENDED BUILD
In today's lesson, campers will work together to create a camp-wide Smart Train track.
